The Verkhovna Rada registered a bill on the identification and registration of animals No. 9022. This was reported by one of the authors of the project, Deputy Head of the Committee on Agrarian Policy and Land Relations Oleksandr Bakumenko on his Facebook page, pigua.info reported.
He noted that the bill was established to bring the legislation of Ukraine in line with the legislation of the European Union.
"The adoption of this bill will eliminate the differences with the legislation of the EU member states regarding the requirements for trade in goods covered by sanitary and phytosanitary measures, while ensuring the protection of life and health of people and animals, the proper level of traceability of animal movements," Bakumenko noted.
It should be noted that Petro Poroshenko signed the Law of Ukraine "On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine on the Resolution of the Problem of Collective Land Ownership, Improvement of Land Use Rules in Massifs of Agricultural Land, Prevention of Illegal Takeover and Irrigating in Ukraine".
