Average prices for the sale of agricultural products by agricultural enterprises of Ukraine in January-April of 2018 increased by 12.1% compared to the same period in 2017.
According to the report, crop production increased by 9.5% over the reporting period, and livestock production - by 24.4%, compared to January-April 2017.
According to the State Statistics Service, in April, in comparison with March of this year, agricultural products went up by 3.6%. In particular, crop production rose by 5.2%, while livestock products - by 3.3%.
It is noted that, compared with April 2017, average prices in April this year rose by 13.9%. In particular, the cost of crop production increased by 11.8%, and livestock - by 24.5%.
As UNIAN reported, the average prices for the sale of agricultural products by Ukrainian agricultural enterprises in 2017 increased by 11.5% compared to 2016. At the same time, crop production in 2012 increased by 7.3%, and livestock - by 30.7%.
