According to the information of the General Directorate of the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection in the Odesa region, on 05.05.2018, the disease and the death of pigs were recorded in the Novoselske Agricultural Production Cooperative (Novoselske village, Reninskyi district, Odesa region), agronews.ua reported.
In the study of selected samples of biomaterial in the State Research Institute for Laboratory Diagnostics and the Veterinary and Sanitary Expertise (Kyiv) on 05.05.2018, the diagnosis African swine fever (ASF) (report on the results of study No. 004454 p.m./18 of 05/05/2018) was established.
To coordinate the actions for localization and elimination of the ASF outbreak, a meeting of the state emergency antiepizootic commission was held at the Reninskyi District State Administration on 05/05/2018, the decision of which approved the plan for the elimination of ASF, the borders of the epizootic focus, protection zones and surveillance.
In the hearth of the disease measures are taken to localize and prevent the spread of the pathogen of ASF.
