Africa continues to spread across Europe

The World Organization for Animal Health (OIE) recorded 57 foci of dangerous diseases (from November 25 to December 1).

Thus, in the Belgorod region of the Russian Federation, a hotbed of African swine fever was found. This was recorded in Latvia, 24 cases of ASF confirmed in Poland, 4 - in Ukraine and the seventh Czech Republic. Seven foci of highly pathogenic avian influenza have been recorded in Italy, five in the Republic of South Africa, three in Japan and two in Taiwan.

Among other dangerous diseases, bovine spongiform encephalopathy in Spain, Newcastle disease in Sweden, sheep pox and goats in Greece.
