According to the Draft Law "On the State Budget of Ukraine for 2019"* No. 9000 of 15.09.2018, which was submitted by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, it is proposed to allocate 14 560 052.5 thousand UAH for financing the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food. This is 405 360.80 thousand UAH or 2% more than in 2018, which provides for the Law of Ukraine "On the State Budget of Ukraine for 2018"**.
In particular, the amount of state budget expenditures for the Ministry of Agrarian Policy has been increased by 6.3% (or by 436 408.90 thousand UAH), which will amount to 7258 751.7 UAH.
Other expenses for the total amount of funds for the Ministry of Agrarian Policy (from 14,560,052.5 thousand UAH) are the financing of the specialized subordinate bodies - the State Service of Ukraine for Geodesy, Cartography and Cadastre (1,705,349.9 thousand UAH), the State Fishery Fund (409,244.1 thousand UAH), the State Forestry Service (409 244.1 thousand UAH), the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection (4860 026,0 thousand UAH).
As for financing the directions of the agrarian sector, they are as follows.
Thus, state support for the livestock sector will not change, and as in the previous year, it will amount to 4 billion UAH.
The amount of funds for science will increase (research, applied scientific and scientific and technical developments, work on state target programs and state orders in the sphere of agro-industrial complex development, training of scientific personnel, scientific developments in the sphere of standardization and certification of agricultural products, research and experimental development in the agro-industrial complex): by 10 364.1 thousand UAH (or 7.8%), which will be 143 009.0 thousand UAH.
Almost by 93% (61,160.00 thousand UAH), in comparison with last year, it is proposed to increase financial support for measures in the agro-industrial complex by reducing the cost of credits, which will amount to 127,160.0 thousand UAH in comparison with 66 000,0 thousand UAH in 2018.
Financial support for agricultural producers is proposed to increase by 436,790.00 thousand UAH or 46% (from 945,000.0 thousand UAH in 2018 to 1381,790.0 UAH in 2019).
400 million UAH is allocated for the horticulture (support for the development of hop growing, development of young gardens, vineyards and berry orchards and their supervision).
State subsidies for the development of farms next year is proposed to reduce from 1 billion USD in 2018 to 800,000 thousand UAH in 2019, that is, 20%.
Talking about the financing of the relevant bodies, the expenses of the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection for anti-epizootic activities and participation in the International Epizootic Bureau will be reduced: from 687,195.0 thousand UAH to 678,639.8 thousand UAH, which is 4.6% of the total volume of subsidies for the agricultural sector .
The number of grants to the State Service of Ukraine for Geodesy, Cartography and Cadastre under the land reform has been reduced almost twice, from 452,800.0 thousand UAH in 2018 to 243,330.0 in 2019.
