The Ukrainian salo grew in price by 80% over the year

According to experts in Ukraine over the year, all types of meat have risen in price from 29% to 80%

Salo set the record of prices, it is more expensive by 80%, pork rose in price by 55%. This is reported by UNN.
Compared with last year, pork added 39 UAH / kg, and salo - 32 UAH / kg.

"At the end of January, a kilogram of beef with bone could be bought on average for 117 UAH, pork - for 110 UAH, chicken fillet - for 92 UAH, cooked sausage - for 83 UAH, salo - for 72 UAH, and chicken carcass for 55 UAH ", says the expert.

According to him, the meat basket index for the year increased by 40%. Its value at the end of January 2018 is 529 UAH, while a year ago it was 377 UAH. Salo and pork hit price records for the second consecutive year. Specialists attribute this to the epidemic of ASF in the country.
