The decision of the European Union to provide Ukraine with additional credits for agricultural produce will come into force from the first of October.

This was reported by the Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine Nataliia Mykolska.
According to Mykolska, the European Parliament has already decided to introduce credits. The act itself will come into force early October, and tariff credits will begin to operate on January 1, 2018. The list of tariff products includes: cereals, wheat, dairy and meat products. The deputy minister is sure that this will give a great impetus to Ukrainian farmers, as Ukrainian agricultural produce in European markets have good competitiveness. This will be an additional motivation for the grain companies to earn more. This step on the part of the EU confirms the fact that the Ukrainian economy is gradually integrating into the European market.

It bears reminding that in Ukraine the harvesting of early grain and leguminous crops was completed on a total area of 96 million hectares. At the same time 37.3 million tons of grain have already been threshed.
