Ukraine increased exports of goods to the EU

In 2017 the export of Ukrainian goods to the EU countries increased by 30% to 17.5 billion dollars, the State Statistics Service reported.

Import of goods to Ukraine at the same time increased by 21.3% to $ 20.7 billion. The negative balance of trade balance of Ukraine is $ 3.2 billion, compared to 2016, it decreased by $ 383 million.

The share of EU countries in the total foreign trade operations of Ukraine is 40.5% (exports) and 41.9% (imports).

The EU mainly bought in Ukraine products of the agro-industrial complex and food industry, metals, mechanical and electrical machines. The largest deliveries were made to Poland, Italy, Germany, the Netherlands, Hungary, Spain, Romania, the Czech Republic.

At the same time, Ukraine bought in the EU mechanical and electrical machines, chemical products, land transport, aircraft, floating equipment, as well as agro products and food products.
