Ukraine increased cheese exports by 19%

According to the results of January-September, 2017, Ukraine delivered to the foreign markets 6,563 tons of cheese, which is 19% higher than the figure for the same period in 2016.

According to customs statistics released by the State Fiscal Service, in monetary terms, shipments of these products increased by 43.8% - to $ 23 million, writes interfax.com.ua.
 
Import of cheeses in January-September amounted to 6.8 thousand tons, an increase of 41% compared to the same period last year. The country imported products worth $ 31.09 million (in January-September 2016 - $ 19.98 million).
 
Export of butter from Ukraine in January-September 2017 increased by 2.7 times - to 21.3 thousand tons. In monetary terms, it amounted to $ 86.12 million, compared to $ 21.88 million in January-September 2016. Imports of this product fell 2.6 times in nine months, from 961 tons ($ 3.25 million) to 371 tons ($ 2.14 million).
 
Export of milk and cream (condensed) in January-September 2017 decreased by 15.3% - to 37.21 thousand tons. Ukraine supplied condensed milk and cream for a total of $ 63.75 million, which is 4.5% more than in the nine months of 2016.
 
It bears reminding that of October 1, 2017, Japan changes the terms of imports of raw milk and dairy products.
