The trade turnover between Ukraine and Moldova increased by almost 35%

During the first half of this year, trade between Ukraine and Moldova increased by almost 35% compared to the same period last year.

This was reported by First Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine - Minister of Economic Development Stepan Kubiv, reports the Government portal.

The trade turnover between Ukraine and Moldova increased by almost 35% in the first half of 2017 compared to the same period in 2016. This shows the intentions and potential for the development of common opportunities, Kibiv has said.

He noted the importance of the Ukrainian-Moldovan initiatives towards European integration in energy, technical regulation, the development of the digital economy.

 
According to Nataliia Mykolska, Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade Representative of Ukraine, the Republic of Moldova is also included in the TOP-20 promising markets for Ukrainian exports according to the conclusions of the experts of the Export Strategy project.
