There are more product exporters in Ukraine

About 300 Ukrainian enterprises have the right to export to the European Union, of which 109 are food producers. The number of Ukrainian enterprises that received the right to export food products of animal origin, increased from 690 in October 2017 to 836 - as of early July 2018.

This was reported on Friday, August 3, by the press service of the State Service of Ukraine of Food Safety and Consumer Protection, with reference to the director of the department Boris Kobal.

"Over the past nine months because of joint efforts of the state and business, the geography of exports of our state's products has expanded and the number of enterprises that have the right to export food products of animal origin has increased from 690 in October 2017 to 836 in early July 2018," Boris Kobal said.

He added that 289 Ukrainian enterprises now have the right to export to the EU countries, including 109 food producers, including poultry, fish, honey, eggs, milk and dairy products.

Earlier it was reported that more than 10 thousand companies from Ukraine work in the European Union. And the volume of exports of Ukrainian goods to the EU over the first five months of this year amounted to 8.2 billion dollars. Last year the volume of exports to the EU for the first time exceeded the level of 2013 and 2014.

It also became known that the export of Ukrainian goods to the European Union for 2017 increased by 357 new commodity items.
