The government can increase the amount of state support of the agricultural sector in 2019 to 12.4 billion UAH, transferring unpaid budget funds to a special fund. Experts of the agro-industrial complex made such an initiative during a round table on the topic “Budget cake-2019: opportunities and challenges,” agropolit.com reported.
According to the Draft Law "On the State Budget of Ukraine for 2019"* No. 9000 of 15.09.2018, which was submitted by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, it is proposed to allocate 14 560 052.5 thousand UAH for financing the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food. This is 405 360.80 thousand UAH or 2% more than in 2018, which provides for the Law of Ukraine "On the State Budget of Ukraine for 2018"**.
6.9 billion UAH is planned to be allocated for the Draft State Budget of Ukraine for 2019 on the agro-industrial complex. This was said by Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groisman during an extraordinary meeting of the government, the correspondent of UNN reported.
945 million UAH will be allocated to the program of compensation for the cost of machinery and equipment out of the 6.3 billion UAH allocated for the state budget for 2018 to support the agro-industrial complex.
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, within the framework of fulfilling the tasks of development of the agrarian sector, is improving the programs for supporting the agricultural sector and expanding the possibilities of agro-enterprises, primarily with regard to the access of agrarians to available financial resources.
The Law of Ukraine "On the State Budget of Ukraine for 2018", approved by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on December 7, 2017, provides for the budget program for KPKRK 2801540 "State Support to the Livestock Sector" in a record amount for the years of independence amounting to 4.0 billion UAH.
The stock breeders hope that the government and the relevant ministry will simplify the procedure for receiving the funds but will not delay with the adoption of the subordinate regulatory legal acts necessary for obtaining financing.
