According to the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection, new cases of African swine fever were found in Poltava and Kherson regions.

In July the government adopted a draft amendment proposed by the Ministry of Agriculture and Development of the Village of Poland to the law on specific activities related to the emergence of African swine fever (ASF). The amendments make it possible to increase the use of pork from the ASF zones and thereby unlock the purchase of live animals in quarantine zones. Changes should touch more than 5 thousand farms, pigua.info reported.

The first case of African swine fever in China was recorded near Shenyang, Liaoning Province (the northern region, which is near North Korea). The farm kept 383 pigs, pigua.info reported.
