The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) issued a warning that an outbreak of African swine fever (ASF) in China could spread to neighboring regions and countries. This was reported by the press office of the Secretary-General of the World Organization, UNN reported.
According to information from the main departments of the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection in the Poltava, Sumy and Cherkasy regions, from 16.08.2018 to 22.08.2018, 5 cases of African swine fever were recorded.
