Date: 13 - 11 - 2018On October 2, 2018, an agricultural servicing cooperative - Byky Cherkashchyny ASC, which is located in the village of Tsybuliv, Monastyrýshche district, Cherkasy region and is a member of the USBA, signed an agreement with USAID (US Agency for International Development) to provide funding to engage in fattening calves, taken from the public.

Date: 11 - 09 - 2018On September 6, 2018, at the EBRD office in Kyiv Iryna Palamar, head of the Ukrainian Stock Breeders Association, took part in the discussion of the new EBRD Draft Agribusiness Sector Strategy, together with other representatives of profile public associations and industry associations.
Date: 07 - 09 - 2018On September 6 the meeting of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Agrarian Policy and Land Relations took place. The key issue on the agenda was the discussion of problematic issues of transportation of grain and oilseeds, their processed products and sugar by rail transport. In the near future the Committee plans to consider the draft bill "On Rail Transport" No. 7316.
Date: 07 - 09 - 2018Parliamentarians intend to oblige owners of cats and dogs to register their pets. The deputies submitted to the Verkhovna Rada a bill that provides for universal chipping and the availability of a veterinary passport for every pet. In addition, stray animals will also be recorded everywhere, and farmers and stock breeders are expected to have a clearer registration procedure for livestock. All animals are planned to assign a unique identification number, and information on their health status, movements and owners should be entered into a special database. Date: 07 - 09 - 2018On August 28, 2018 the first meeting of the Working Group on Export Promotion of the International Trade Council took place, in which the head of the Ukrainian Stock Breeders Association and a public figure Iryna Palamar, participated as a member of this working group.
Date: 29 - 08 - 2018In addition, the head of the Ukrainian Stock Breeders Association expressed the need to introduce compartmentalization, prevent import of uncertified pesticides to Ukraine and raised the issue of providing farmers with grain cars and motive power. All proposals were supported by the head of the agrarian committee.
Date: 29 - 08 - 2018On August 10, the President of Ukraine signed the draft law "On Amendments to the Tax Code of Ukraine and Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine Concerning the Stimulation of the Establishment and Operation of Family Farms" No. 6490-d of May 18, 2018. The authors of the bill were People's Deputies of the Agrarian and Tax Committees of the Verkhovna Rada Ukraine.
