The state partially compensates to farmers the costs of agricultural equipment and equipment of domestic production, which they acquired in 2017, but for reasons beyond their control, did not receive the promised payments, the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine reported according to agroday.com.ua.
Over the period of December 2017 and January-April 2018, under the budget program "Financial Support for Agricultural Producers" in the direction of "Partial Compensation for the Value of Agricultural Machinery and Equipment of Domestic Production", agrarians purchased 953 units of machinery and equipment for a total cost of 354.6 million UAH (including VAT). 674 agricultural producers in the amount of 70.7 million UAH received compensation from the state. The Ukrainian Stock Breeders Association received such information from the Ministry of Agrarian Policy as of June 12, 2018 №37-13-15/15296.
The agrarians are sure that the subsidy for each head of livestock proposed by the government is non-transparent and ineffective. This, in particular, was said by agrarians of Krasnohradskyi district of the Kharkiv region, sigmatv.net.ua reported.
