On September 26-27, a two-day regional seminar of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) on the proper use of pesticides in agriculture was held in Chisinau, Moldova. The event was attended by more than 20 representatives from Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan. During the seminar, it was decided to establish a working group for regional cooperation on pesticide management, which Ukraine will be responsible for coordinating, the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy reported.
On April 4 the first meeting of the sectoral working group on improving the investment attractiveness of the agricultural sector was held. The event was held on the initiative of the Office of the National Investment Council under the President of Ukraine to identify key priorities for improving the investment climate and attract investments in the agricultural sector.
