Opportunities to export about 80 food products to Saudi Arabia are open. This is reported by the press service of the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection.
The State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection conducted negotiations with the competent service of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, according to which the use of the form of a health certificate for the export of processed foods from Ukraine was agreed.
This form will allow to export not only confectionery products, but also about 80 other types of processed food products in accordance with the classification of the Regulation of the Council of the Persian Gulf countries Guide for control on imported foods (in edition of 2017).
We draw attention to the fact that for certain categories of goods there are additional conditions for certain types of food that require the requirements for the halal standard.
