The market of young pigs in Ukraine is only being formed. Previously, farmers in their own enterprises created a full cycle of growing animals, writes Landlord.
The business of producing young piglets for subsequent fattening from the buyer, according to experts, is very attractive. After all, the production cycle for growing young is short, the level of prices for products is high, and the demand is still unsatisfied.
At specialized information sites, young piglets are offered by more than 20 pig farms from different regions of Ukraine. Expose batches of young animals of different breeds from 100 to 1,000 units. The weight of piglets varied from 5 to 35 kg, their price is very dynamic. In the beginning of July, it varied from 50 to 150 UAH / kg.
The analyst said that the pigs weighing 10-15 kg at this time the vendors offered at 100-200 UAH / kg, and weighing 20-30 kg - 70-80 each. In addition, the prices for the last for the increased demand for such animals and their very limited supply have increased since January by 20 UAH / kg.
