The production of frozen pork and chilled chicken has grown in Ukraine

This is reported by the State Statistics Service of Ukraine.

According to the department, frozen pork produced 1.3 thousand tons in October, which is 41.3% more than in October 2016 and 40.3% higher than the results of September 2017.
In addition, chilled poultry meat produced 64.1 thousand tons in October, which is 5.4% more than in October 2016 and 8.6% less than in September 2017.

In addition, the production of frozen cattle meat during the reporting period amounted to 1.6 thousand tons, which is 7.5% less than in October 2016. In comparison with September 2017, the production of this product increased by 12.8%

At the same time, in October 2017, Ukraine produced 5.2 thousand tons of fresh or cooled cattle meat, which is 22.6% less than in the same period in 2016 compared to September 2017, production increased by 17.3% .

Frozen poultry meat during the reporting month produced 16.7 thousand tons - 11.7% less than in October 2016 compared with September 2017 production of this product increased by 16%.

The production of fresh or chilled pork during the reporting period compared to October 2016 decreased by 9.4%, to 20.5 thousand tons compared to September 2017 - increased by 10.3%.
