The production of eggs in the Donetsk region in January-September increased by 13%

This is reported by the General Directorate of Statistics in the Donetsk region.

Production of meat in the reporting period amounted to 83.8 thousand tons, which is 0.5% less than in January-September 2016. At the same time milk yields decreased by 1.2% to 158.1 thousand tons.

According to the report, the cattle stock on October 1, 2017 was 73 thousand animal units, increased by 1% compared to the same date of the previous year.

In comparison with October 1, 2016, the number of pigs decreased by 0.1% and amounted to 481.8 thousand animal units. The number of poultry on October 1, 2017 was 4.1 million units (-4.8%).
