President Petro Poroshenko approved the bill, according to which the self-employed individual (SEI), who are engaged in the business within the farm, will be referred to economic entities applying a simplified system of taxation, accounting and reporting. This is evidenced by the data on the page of the relevant bill No. 6490-d on the website of the Verkhovna Rada, Ukrainian News reported.

Now the SEI farmers in case of acceptance of the document as a whole will be payers of the single tax of the 4th group.

However, they must meet a number of criteria: to be engaged solely in the production of agricultural products, processing and supplying them, to be engaged in economic activities at the place of the tax address, not to use work of hired people, and members of such a farm should only be members of the family.

The area of farmland in use in this case should be from 2 to 20 hectares.

The document also provides for a preferential procedure for the payment of a single social contribution for all members of the farm, including its head (additional payment of ERUs at the expense of the state budget for 10 years); as well as the establishment of payment of personal income tax on rent for land plots (units) in local budgets at the location of such land plots.

In addition, the document amended the law "On State Support for Agriculture in Ukraine," according to which family farms - payers of the single tax of the 4th group receive additional financial support through the mechanism of co-payment in favor of the insured persons - members of this economy single contribution to the mandatory state social insurance in the amount of: 0,9 minimum insurance premium - the first year; 0,8 - the second year and so on to 0,1 minimum insurance premium for the ninth and tenth years.

Such assistance is provided at the expense of the funds provided for in the state budget.
