In the next harvest season, Polish farmers will have to pay nearly $ 100 per month for each foreign worker.

Until the end of this year, Poland is willing to pass a law on the introduction of a fixed tax for the employment of seasonal workers. This was reported by the head of the Standing Committee of the Cabinet of Ministers of Poland Henry Kowalczyk. I am coordinating work on a new decision on taxation of seasonal workers, which concerns hundreds of thousands of people. It is necessary that farmers can legally employ such workers by paying a small tax of about 300 zlotys a month, Kowalczyk has explained.

The new rules will most likely come into force next summer season.
The official has stressed that if it was necessary, we would solve the problem of registration of foreign workers, which was also important for national security. According to statistics, Poland has issued more than one million permits for entry. However, we do not know how many people left, and how much work remains, Henry Kowalczyk has complained.
