The number of cattle in Ukraine as of June 1 decreased by 4.6% compared to the same date last year, to 3.97 million heads. This is reported by the State Statistics Service of Ukraine, according to agravery.com.
According to the report, the number of cows decreased by 3.7%, to 2.04 million heads.
In addition, the number of pigs as of the indicated date compared with the indicator a year earlier decreased by 5.7% to 6.4 million heads, sheep and goats - by 4.1%, to 1.64 million heads.
