Wild boars were shot in the Rivne region in the hunting areas "Trofei" (Mlynivskyi district), " Sopachiv-Huta" (Rivne district) and "Lybid" (Kostopilskyi district).
This is reported by the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection.
In the study of selected samples of the biomaterial, a diagnosis African swine fever (ASF) was established.
To coordinate the actions for localization and elimination of the outbreak of the ASF, a meeting of the State Extraordinary Epizootic Commission was held, the decision of which approved the plan for the elimination of ASF, the borders of the epizootic foci, protection zones and surveillance.
