New cases of ASF were recorded in Odesa, Ternopil and Sumy regions

As of July 1, 2018 new cases of African swine fever were recorded in Ukraine. This was reported by the press service of the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection, according to pigua.info.

Thus, diseases and deaths of pigs were found in private households of citizens in:

  • Kyslytsia village and Loshchynivks village of Izmail district (Odesa region);
  • Stzhok village of Shumskyi district (Ternopil region);
  • Malyi Vystorop village (Lebedynskyi district, Sumy region).

In the study of selected samples of biomaterial in the laboratory confirmed the diagnosis - ASF. In the foci of the disease measures are taken to localize and prevent the spread of the causative agent of the disease.
