In the subsidiary farm of the Horodyshchenska correctional colony No. 96 (Rivne region), disease and death of pigs were recorded. This is reported by the press service of the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection.
According to the information of the Main Directorate of the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection in the Rivne region on December 4, 2017, the disease and the death of pigs were recorded in the subsidiary farm of the Horodyshchenska correctional colony No. 96 (Rivne region).
In the study of selected samples of biomaterial in the State Research Institute for Laboratory Diagnostics and Veterinary Sanitary Examination (Kyiv, 05.12.2017), a diagnosis was made of African swine fever (ASF) (report on the results of study No. 009965 p.m . / 17 of 05/12/2017).
In order to coordinate the localization and elimination of the ASF outbreak, the meeting of the State Extraordinary Epizootic Commission under the Rivne Regional State Administration was held, the decision of which approved the plan for the elimination of ASF, the borders of the epizootic focus, protection zones and surveillance.
In the hearth of the disease, measures are taken to localize and prevent the spread of the pathogen of ASF.
