Milk prices in different regions of Ukraine have been compared

The most expensive dairy products are sold in the Luhansk region. The cheapest are sold in Ternopil. "According to official statistics for June, the most expensive milk basket was sold in the Luhansk region – for 370 UAH. The cheapest was sold in the Ternopil region – for 316.9 UAH. A kilogram of sour cream, cottage cheese, butter and a liter of milk entered the basket." - the director of the association of suppliers of trade networks Olekesii Doroshenko noted on his Facebook.

Dairy basket for the Kyiv and Poltava region residents cost 359.1 UAH. In Kyiv, it cost 358.6 UAH. In the Cherkasy region –  358.2 UAH.

"The top five of the cheapest dairy baskets, except Ternopil, included Vinnytsia region - 329 UAH, Lviv and Sumy regions - 330.5 UAH, Khmelnytskyi  - 330.8 UAH," explained Doroshenko.

He summed up that a significant part of the milk basket was butter - about 55% of the total cost.

Since the beginning of the year, the price for milk has increased by 1%, sour cream - by 2%. Butter rose in price by 3%. At the same time, soft cheese has fallen in price by 1%. Compared with the beginning of the year, butter added in price 5.5 UAH per kg, sour cream - 1 UAH, milk - 20 kopecks per liter. Soft cheese fell by 1.1 UAH per kg. In late June kilograms of butter on average was sold for 182.5 UAH, cheese - for 88.8 UAH. A liter of milk and sour cream cost 22 and 52 UAH, respectively.
