A Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine and the National Commission on Securities and Stock Market.
The purpose of signing the document is to increase the effectiveness of the implementation of state policy in the field of functioning of the agrarian market.
In particular, we are talking about improving the legal framework for the use of commodity derivatives in relations related to the turnover of agricultural products and raising awareness of market participants in this field. The Memorandum will allow to establish an effective exchange of information between state bodies, coordinate their actions for the development of commodity exchange markets in Ukraine, and introduce the use of commodity derivatives and other financial instruments by the entities of the agrarian sector.
Among the areas of cooperation within the framework of the Memorandum are mutual methodological assistance regarding mechanisms and tools for monitoring the agricultural market, participation in drafting bills, holding joint conferences, meetings, seminars.
