In 2018 19.6 million UAH will be allocated from the regional budget for the financial support of agrarians of Lviv region, which is one of the largest support volumes among the regions of Ukraine.
This was reported by the director of the department of agro-industrial development of the Lviv Regional State Administration Nataliia Khmyz, the press-service informs.
It is noted that this is also provided for in the district budgets in the amount of 3.4 million UAH, of which 0.3 million UAH were financed.
"We have introduced a new direction of support for agricultural cooperatives, whose members are peasant, farming enterprises that carry out activities to grow raspberries. And they also increased financial support in the form of soft loans on a return basis for the implementation of business plans in the agricultural sector to 14.9 million UAH," says Nataliia Khmyz.
According to Nataliia Khmyz, mainly district programs are aimed at supporting the livestock sector (1.4 million UAH). The largest financial resource in support of farmers is allocated in Yavorivskyi (700 thousand UAH, Zhovkivskyi (600 thousand UAH) and in Pustomytivskyi (500 thousand UAH) districts.
