The lowest cost of labor in Europe is in Ukraine, but the level of qualifications of specialists is quite high.
This was reported by the director of the Ukrainian Association of Producers Oleh Ivanenko.

It bears reminding that the wages of agricultural workers are almost 25% lower than the average for Ukraine.

According to Ivanenko, cheap labor is an advantage for foreign investors, in particular, European ones. In addition, the presence in Ukraine of a large number of bankrupt enterprises, which can be purchased relatively inexpensively and on their basis to develop new modern production, is positive for them.

"Inexpensive logistics - transporting products from Ukraine to Europe is much cheaper than transportation, for example, from Asian countries," notes the expert.

He notes that Ukraine's accession to the Free Trade Area with the European Union makes it possible to duty-free export products to the European market with a population of more than 500 million people.

"We are confident that, despite the complexity of the current situation in the country (the occupation of the Crimea, the war in the eastern regions, the difficulty in carrying out reforms), the democratic changes that are taking place in our state lay the foundation for stability and consistency of relatively civilized approaches to doing business in general, and the development of production in particular. Investors who believe in Ukraine, and having business intuition, will be the first to come to the country today, tomorrow they will have significant competitive advantages and use all the benefits of the new growing market,” believes the director of the Ukrainian Association of Producers.

Thus, it would seem that the negative for the Ukrainian side turns into interesting proposals for investors. This gives impetus to hope for improvement of the investment climate in the country, the start of construction of new infrastructure facilities and the creation of new jobs.
