The test version of the special mobile application for Ukrainian farmers, developed by Kyivstar together with the Ministry of Agrarian Policy, is scheduled to be launched in April. About 50 users will be selected in the focus group, which will test the convenience of the application.
This was discussed during the meeting of the Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Viktor Sheremeta with representatives of the Kyivstar company on March 1.
"An urgent issue for the Ministry is the timely delivery of detailed information on the government's support programs to the agrarians. For this purpose, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy applies a wide range of communication channels. The new mobile application will become another communication tool, in particular, due to the filling of the news block of the Ministry, " says Viktor Sheremeta.
The digital platform for agrarians is based on information on prices for products and materials, information on pests, the main news of the agricultural sector, weather data and useful advice. The application should help agricultural producers monitor their business, learn about government support programs, advice, etc.
Simultaneously with the launch of the test version, on the basis of the joint work of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Kyivstar, additional functions of the mobile application will be developed. In addition, work will be done to promote and adapt the mobile application even in remote areas of Ukraine. The analysis of test results is planned to be used in other countries of Europe and Asia, because Ukraine is the first country that introduces such a digital platform of farmers.
As a result of the meeting, it was decided after the launch of the test version of the mobile application to organize a working meeting of the representatives of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and the Kyivstar company to develop an action plan for the year and determine the new functions of the module.
