Issues are considered at the meeting of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Agrarian Policy and Land Relations

"Under conditions when there are serious problems with rail transportation of agricultural products and farmers have risks with the execution of export contracts, the adoption of draft bill No. 7316 will provide many positive changes for the agrarian sector.

Among which, legislation will be revised in the field of access to the railway infrastructure, as well as the principles for the formation of a tariff policy for rail transport;

Protection devices will appear that will prevent the closure of railways and railway stations;

will increase the possibility of accumulating funds for the implementation of investment programs, which will allow upgrading the railway fleet;

responsibility in the sphere of cargo transportation and access to infrastructure is increased," Iryna Palamar, Head of the Ukrainian Stock Breeders Association, commented.
