From October 30 to October 31, the Ukrainian business delegation, headed by Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Hroisman, participates in the trade mission in Canada.

Iryna Palamar, Chairman of the Ukrainian Stock Breeders Association, became part of the team that establishes trade and economic ties between business representatives. The delegation included representatives of ministries and departments, leading businessmen of the country.

Within the framework of the trip, the International Economic Forum Toronto Global Forum was held on October 30, where Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Hroisman personally spoke about Ukrainian reforms and supported the idea of opening a Ukrainian trade mission in Canada. According to the Prime Minister, the Cabinet of Ministers has determined the priorities of the innovative activity of Ukraine for 2017-2021, among which - and agro-industry.

The forum provided an opportunity to present Ukraine as a powerful partner in the field of trade relations and expand the boundaries of cooperation between states.
Also on October 30, B2B meetings took place, which continue today, on October 31, between representatives of the Ukrainian business and potential partners. In total, more than 150 business players from Canada and Ukraine took part in the event.

Eleven Ukrainian companies from the agrarian sector, the food industry, information and communication technologies and engineering participate in B2B meetings with representatives of the Canadian business and discuss the prospects for bilateral relations. Among the leading Ukrainian companies is the "Trade House Fidlens "(part of the group of companies" AgroVet Atlantic Group "), whose managing partner is Iryna Palamar.
The trade mission is an important step for the expansion of Ukraine-Canada relations, a chance for the Ukrainian business to enter the Canadian market or expand its presence on it.
