In January-June, 2018 enterprises and organizations accounted for 206.9 billion UAH of capital investments from all sources of financing, which is 26 5% more than the volume of capital investments for the corresponding period of 2017, agronews.ua reported.
According to the State Statistics Service, 26.9 billion UAH of investments were invested in the agriculture, forestry and fish industry over the half-year, which is 9.8% more than in the same period of the last year.
Investments in agriculture account for 13% of investments in the economy of Ukraine.
At the same time, it should be noted that in the first half of 2017, investments in the agricultural sector increased by 40.6%.
