On September 15, at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the draft Law of Ukraine "On the State Budget of Ukraine for 2018" was presented, which took into account the proposals of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine regarding the support of the agrarian sector for the next year.

State programs will focus on the industries that need support most, and are able to provide a lasting positive effect for the economy and the social sphere.
In particular, the draft Law of Ukraine on the State Budget for 2018 provides:
1 billion UAH - financial support for the development of farms and rural cooperation;
1 billion UAH - financing of partial compensation of the cost of purchased agricultural equipment and equipment of Ukrainian production;
2 billion UAH - a budget subsidy for the development of agricultural producers and stimulating the production of agricultural products;
2, 3 billion UAH - support the livestock sector, in particular, the direction of construction and reconstruction of livestock complexes.
It is also planned to significantly increase the fixation for carrying out animal disease control, in particular, to fight against ASF.
In general, for state support of the agricultural sector in 2018, in accordance with the Budget Code of Ukraine, it is planned to direct 1% of the GDP of the agrarian sector.
The draft State Budget for 2018 is sent to Parliament.
