Epizootic situation on especially dangerous diseases of animals in the world

Over the past period, Russia has informed the OIE of two cells of African swine fever in the Belgorod region and an outbreak of nodular dermatitis in the Orenburg region.

Two foci of foot-and-mouth disease were observed in Guizhou Province in China. African swine fever was registered in Poland (87), Ukraine (7) and the Czech Republic (2).

New centers of highly pathogenic avian influenza were found in Cambodia (1), the Netherlands (2), South Africa (1), South Korea (2), Taiwan (2) and the Philippines (1).

In Turkey, a locus of horses' sap was recorded (1), the country had previously been free of this disease. Veterinary Services of Egypt (2) reported cases of rabies in horses and cattle.
