Epizootic situation on especially dangerous diseases of animals in the world

Between December 9 and 15, 2017, countries reported to the World Organization for Animal Health (OIE) about 70 animal disease cells.
 

Over the past period, Russia has reported to the OIE about 6 outbreaks of African swine fever in Kalininhrad (2), Nyzhnii Novhorod (1), Volgohrad (2) and Volodymyrska (1) oblasts. The center of classical swine fever was found in the Prymorskyi Territory.

Foot and mouth disease in the world was recorded in China (1), the Palestinian Autonomous Territory (3) and in the formerly prosperous Mozambique (1).

African swine fever was registered in Poland (35), in Ukraine (4), Republic of Moldova (4) and in the Czech Republic (3).

New centers of highly pathogenic avian influenza were found in Italy (1), Cambodia (1), the Netherlands (1) and South Africa (1), and cells of low pathogenic avian influenza in France (1) and in the Dominican Republic (3).

The veterinary services of Greece reported new cases of pox of sheep and goats (1) and bluetongue (1). In Turkey, spots of bluetongue have been found (2).
