Now an epizootic investigation is continuing, materials are being prepared for transfer to law enforcement agencies. In connection with the large amount of damage, it is likely to open a criminal case. To date, the sources of infection are not defined.
According to Volodymyr Kyryliuk, First Deputy Head of the Main Department of the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection of the Donetsk Region, epizootology doctors considered different versions. It could be both a wild boar and a human factor. The main problem is that the farm is located in the immediate vicinity of the Udachne village. Local hosts also hold pigs.
"Under the new law of pigs, no one will be selected, after the quarantine, the owners will be reimbursed for damages either with meat or money. There should be no panic, this process has been established in the region, " says Volodymyr Kyryliuk.
