The Cabinet of Ministers extended the ban on the import of Russian goods to Ukraine from the approved list until December 31, 2018. The relevant decree was adopted at a government meeting.

The Cabinet amended its Decree of December 30, 2015, No. 1147 "On the prohibition of the importation of goods into the customs territory of goods originating in Russia," according to which its operation was extended until December 31, 2018 (inclusive).
This decision was made with the aim of ensuring Ukraine's national security in response to Russia's introduction of relevant trade bans and restrictions against Ukraine.
