The government has determined the criteria for obtaining state support for the construction of new livestock complexes within the program for 4 billion UAH.

This is reported by Interfax-Ukraine.

According to a report on the government's website, state aid is used to reduce the cost of loans for the construction of farms and livestock complexes, or to compensate some of the producers' own funds spent on construction.

"The maximum credit resource is 10 million euros per commodity complex at 3% per annum for five years. The maximum amount of compensation is 25% of the amount of expenses, " is said on the website of the Cabinet of Ministers.

If necessary, according to the results of the first half-year of the programs' work in 2018, its mechanisms can be corrected.

Until the end of January, the government will develop an order of distribution of funds within the framework of state support programs for the agro-industrial complex.

"The final financial decisions must be submitted over a week. I am interested in increasing the number of livestock, increasing milk yields, leveling the balance of meat in the domestic market and, finally, a reasonable price for the entire range. I call for construction: please build new farms," says the Prime Minister Volodymyr Hroisman.

At the initiative of the Cabinet, state funds under the farm support program for 1 billion UAH will be used to reduce the cost of credits - up to 1% of the credit rate for the purchase of equipment, seed selection, and the provision of consulting services.

"The only requirement from the state is full and honest registration of livestock and land by farmers," is said in the report.
