According to the information of the Main Directorate of the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection in Vinnytsia region, on May 7, 2018, the disease and the death of pigs were registered in the Farm Enterprise "Belinskoho" (Yurivka village, Koziatynskyi district, Vinnytsia region), agronews.ua reported.
In the study of selected samples of the biomaterial a diagnosis African swine fever (ASF) was established.
To coordinate the actions for localization and elimination of the ASF outbreak, a meeting of the state emergency antiepizootic commission was held at the Koziatynskyi district state administration on May 8, 2018, the decision of which approved the plan for the elimination of ASF, the borders of the epizootic focus, protection zones and surveillance.
In the hearth of the disease, measures are taken to localize and prevent the spread of the pathogen of ASF.
