The outbreak of ASF occurred on the farm of private-leased agriculture "Mir" near the Hornostaivka village of the Novotroitskyi district of the Kherson region, where they held almost two hundred animals.

On the farm, 186 pigs were bloodlessly killed and destroyed. At the same time, according to Vitalii Boiarskyi, head of the Food Safety Department of the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection of the Kherson region, there were no gross violations of sanitary norms and safety rules on the farm - it was fenced, the disinfection barrier worked properly.
In the hearth of the disease, measures are taken to localize and prevent the spread of the causative agent of the disease.
