ASF cases for the period from August 16 to 22, 2018

According to information from the main departments of the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection in the Poltava, Sumy and Cherkasy regions, from 16.08.2018 to 22.08.2018, 5 cases of African swine fever were recorded.

Namely:

- August 20, 2018 - at the premises of Promin JLLC, located in the village of Derevky, Kotelevskyi district of the Poltava region (report on the results of the study of the regional government laboratory of the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection in Poltava region No. 002558 p.m./18 of 08/20/2018);

- August 20, 2018 - at the Perlina farm, located in the village of Karpylivka, Lubenskyi district, Poltava region (report on the results of the study of the regional state laboratory of the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection in the Poltava Region No. 002564 p.m./18 of 08/20/2018);

- August 21, 2018 - at Svitanok JLLC, located in the village of Khrestyteleve, Chornobaivskyi district, Cherkasy region (report on the results of the research of the State Research Institute for Laboratory Diagnostics and veterinary and sanitary examination on 08/21/2018 report No. 009423 p.m./18);

- August 21, 2018 - at the personal farm of the citizen of the village of Staryi Kovrai, Chornobaivskyi district of the Cherkasy region (report on the results of the research of the State Research Institute for Laboratory Diagnostics and Veterinary-Sanitary Expert Examination on 08/21/2018 report No. 009424 p.m./18);

- August 21, 2018 - at the personal farm of the citizen of the village of Ochkyne, Seredyno-Budskyi district of the Sumy region (report on the results of the research of the State Research Institute for Laboratory Diagnostics and the veterinary-sanitary expertise on 08/21/2018 report No. 009358 p.m./18).

- August 22, 2018 - at Agroprime LLC located in the village of Karakut, Bolhradskyi region of the Odesa region (report on the results of the research of the State Research Institute for Laboratory Diagnostics and the veterinary and sanitary expertise on 08/22/2018 report No. 009492 p.m./18)

In order to coordinate the actions for localization and elimination of ASF outbreaks, a meeting of the State Emergency Anti-Epizootic Commission was held at the relevant regional state administrations, the decision of which approved plans for the elimination of ASF, the borders of epizootic foci, protection and surveillance zones. In the foci of the disease, measures are taken to localize and prevent the spread of the pathogen of ASF.
