Another flash of ASF was recorded in Nova Odesa

This was reported to the Internet publication "Nova Odessa. Info » by the chairman of the Nova Odesa Regional State Administration Oleksandr Hrytsenko. Immediately, the regional department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine on this case was informed by the police. In addition, as Viktor Shcherbyna, head of the Emergencies sector of the Nova Odesa Regional State Administration, wrote on his Facebook page on October 15, a meeting of the State Extraordinary Epizootic Commission of the RSA under the chairmanship of Hrytsenko and his deputy took place.

The agenda of the extraordinary meeting considered only one issue: "On the outbreak of African swine fever (ASF) in the Nova Odesa district."

At the meeting of the commission, a set of issues was considered, which is aimed at preventing the spread of the African swine fever and the elimination of the outbreak.
During the discussion of the decision of the State Extraordinary Epizootic Commission, urgent issues were worked out, first of all, the establishment of quarantine and quarantine restrictions, the organization and conduct of explanatory work among the population, the sale of pigs and their meat in spontaneous markets. Also, the Commission approved the "Plan of measures to prevent the spread and elimination of African swine fever in a landfill a distance of 1 km from Nova Odesa of Mykolaiv district."
Following the meeting of the State Extraordinary Epizootic Commission, the heads of the district services were tasked with and monitored for their implementation.
