In the agricultural sector 233 investment projects are implemented for 36.7 billion UAH

According to the results of the first half of 2017, 233 investment projects are being implemented in the country's agro-industrial complex. The total cost of investment projects is more than 36.7 billion UAH.

The main source of financing of capital investments is the own funds of enterprises and organizations - more than 76% of the total cost.
The largest number of such projects is being implemented in: Poltava and Cherkasy - by 23 units, Kherson - 22 units, Vinnytsia - 20 units, Kiev and Kirovohrad - by 18 units areas.
The cost of investment projects implemented in the regions ranges from 0.9 million UAH to 9.6 billion UAH.
Namely
:
- up to 100 million UAH - 205 units of investment projects (or 88% of the total)
- from 100 million UAH to 500 million UAH - 21 units. (9%);
- from 500 million UAH to 1 billion UAH - 1 unit. (0.4%);
- more than 1 billion UAH - 6 units. (2.6%).
Vinnytsia, Odesa, Sumy, Kiev and Cherkasy regions are leaders among regions with investments in the agricultural sector, the total share of which is 79% of the total cost of investment projects implemented in the country's agroindustrial complex.
The greatest activity of investment activity in January-June of 2017 was observed in Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, Chernihiv, Poltava, Kirovohrad regions. The volume of development of capital investments in these regions amounted to more than 1 billion UAH.
Directions for the implementation of investment projects (construction and reconstruction):
- development of cattle breeding - 59 units (or 25.3% of the total);
- development of pig production - 33 units (14.2%);
- development of poultry farming - 23 units (9.9%);
- processing, storage and processing of cereals and industrial crops - 48 units (20.6%);
- vegetable - and fruit storage - 21 units (9%);
- processing of agricultural raw materials - 16 units (6.9%);
- perennial plantations - 11 units (4.7%);
- irrigation - 10 units (4.3%);
- others - 12 units (5.1%).
