After leaving the EU, the UK plans to develop bilateral trade with Ukraine and develop an appropriate legislative framework between the countries.

This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Economic Development.

Minister of Economic Development Stepan Kubiv and Deputy Minister - Trade Representative of Ukraine Nataliia Mykolska met with the Minister of State for International Trade and London Gregory William Hands on the margins of the Ministerial Conference of the WTO.

Hands stressed that Britain supports the territorial integrity of Ukraine and the extension of sanctions against the aggressor country.

The main attention during the talks was devoted to the development of international trade between Ukraine and Great Britain after the completion of the latter's exit from the EU and the creation of an appropriate legislative base between the two countries.

So, the UK is in the TOP-20 markets in focus for Ukrainian exports according to Ukraine's export strategy.
