4 billion UAH for livestock producers was divided between 6 programs - the official mechanism for distributing subsidies

It bears reminding that 4 billion UAH from 6.3 billion UAH total support was allocated for these purposes in 2018. As the comparative analysis of this document shows with previous drafts, it has undergone changes. More about the preliminary order read here.

Budget funds are allocated for state support in the following areas:

1) partial compensation of the interest rate on bank loans raised to cover expenses related to the implementation of activities in the areas of: sheep, goat, beekeeping, fur farming, rabbit breeding, silkworm breeding and aquaculture (hereinafter referred to as interest compensation);

2) partial compensation of the cost of construction and reconstruction of livestock farms and complexes, milking parlors, agricultural processing enterprises in terms of expenses financed by bank loans (hereinafter - compensation of the cost of facilities financed by bank loans);

3) a special budget subsidy for the content of dairy cows, milk and meat and meat directions of productivity (hereinafter - subsidies for the maintenance of cows);

4) a special budgetary subsidy for the cultivation of young cattle, which was born on the farms of individuals (hereinafter - subsidies for young animals);

5) partial reimbursement of the value of pedigree animals purchased for further reproduction, namely heifers, bred heifers, dairy cows, milk and meat and meat directions cows, pigs and boars, ewes, rams, gimmer and bull’s sperm, and bovine embryos that have tribal (genetic) value (hereinafter - partial reimbursement of the value of breeding animals, sperms and embryos);

6) partial reimbursement of the cost of construction and reconstruction of livestock farms and complexes, milking parlors, agricultural processing enterprises (hereinafter - partial reimbursement of the cost of objects).
