The Government adopted changes to the Concept of the State Target Program for the Development of the Agricultural Sector of the Economy, according to which the state support of the AIC will be maximally predictable and effective.
In the Ministry of Agrarian Policy, there was an interdepartmental discussion of the existing procedures and requirements for the construction of livestock complexes in order to develop common approaches to their optimization and simplification.

According to the State Statistics Service, agroproducts were imported to Ukraine in January-September 2017 by $ 3.2 billion. The import of agri-food products for 9 months of this year increased by $ 0.2 billion, as compared to the corresponding period of 2016, mainly due to an increase volumes of supplies from the EU countries.
As a result of 8 months of 2017 exports of goods amounted to $ 27.5 billion, that is increased by $ 4.8 billion compared with the same period in 2016. In the structure of exports of goods the largest share was made by the products of the agrarian sector and the food industry - 41.2%.
