More than 700 thousand UAH should be received by entrepreneurs who suffered from an outbreak of African swine fever. Funds are allocated from budgetary reserves.

"At one of the pig farms in Biliaivskyi district, ASF was found after the foreign transport got into the territory. Although regular measures for disinfection would minimize the consequences. Our duty is to compensate the population for emergency situations. In this case - caused by the introduction of quarantine and works to eliminate a dangerous disease. So, we keep in touch with the public and with all relevant services, " says First Deputy Chairman of the State Administration Oleksandr Tereshchuk.
Because of the virus, 254 animals were killed in the village of Vasylivka of the Biliaivskyi district. Also in October, African swine fever was recorded in the village of Krynychne of the Bolhradskyi district.
In both places, a quarantine has been declared. It bears reminding that from the beginning of this year in the Odessa region only 8 cases of the disease were recorded, and in the past - 23.
